Got an early start from Beaumont, about 8am. Stopped in Smithers for supplies. Seems like a nice town. Found a used bookstore/coffee shop that seemed to be the artists centre of the town.

Stopped at Kleanza Creek campground to check it out. Very nice, not busy. Loud creek right by the campsites. Decided not to stay, we wanted a lake and a shower. Moved on to Lakelse Park.

Lakelse is nice. BIG, but not crowded, good beach. Went for a swim, then had hot showers that were included in campground fee.
